(di)-vision Upcycles Vintage T-Shirts for Asymmetrical Collection

Copenhagen-based label (di)-vision is back this season with a set of upcycled T-shirts. One-of-one, each piece playfully puts together different halves of two vintage tees, juxtaposing vibrant old-school graphics and varying cotton textures for a bold asymmetrical look. These tees follow last year’s release of reconstructed military-inspired outerwear, offering more season-friendly layers for the warmer months of the year.
Featured are a series of retro graphics, spanning prints like The Hulk, Sesame Street, Blink 182 and Biggie Smalls, that have been put together by hand. It’s worth noting that the size of both halves of the T-shirts match closely, though there is some variance to keep things interesting. The tees are split by a central seam that comes with contrasting top-stitching, and the hemlines of some of the pieces have been evened out on both sides for a balanced look, albeit others, however, have been left uneven to maintain the off-kilter feel.
