Jordan Brand is throwing it back to the early ’00s with the return of the nostalgic Jordan Team Showcase. The silhouette was worn by some NCAA athletes near the start of the 21st century and is now being resurrected with new updates whilst maintaining its original mold.

Coming in “True White/Legend Blue”, this iteration bears a crisp UNC color scheme. Stamped at the top of the tongue are silver-toned rivets, followed by soft blue suede panels that appear along the upper collars and sidewalls. Tonal round laces cover the forefoot crossing over subtle perforations at the tongue, while a bold Jumpman logo is placed near the throat line. One distinctive detail on the shoe is the “JORDAN” insignia on the lateral sides, where an NCAA player’s name was formerly written.” It strikes diagonally across the body of the shoe, separating the parallel top-stitching found above from the row of perforations below. Another noteworthy highlight is the rubber “rewind/fast forward” motif placed at the heel. As a finishing note, a thin silver line appears just below the mudguards, accentuating the slight articulation along the front toes.

The Jordan Team Showcase “True White/Legend Blue” is currently available at sneakersnstuff’s website for $149 USD.

In other footwear news, release information for the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Max 95 has been confirmed.
