Jil Sander Goes Minimal With Classic Logo Poplin T-shirt

Just last week, Lucie and Luke Meier presented their FW20 lineup at Pitti Uomo 97 for Jil Sander, and the label is already rolling out one of its classic pieces: a crisp white logo T-shirt emblazoned with Jil Sander’s bold sans-serif typeface.
Hand-crafted in Italy, the T-shirt is minimal and comes with a bevy of subtle details that seamlessly elevate its construction. The piece is made from a delicate cotton poplin textile that holds a soft premium texture. Slight fraying appears along the double-layered fabric at the collars, continuing over to the shoulder seams, wrapping around the upper sleeves and following the sides until reaching the hem. Furthermore, black “JIL SANDER” branding is printed across the upper chest, contrasted against the T-shirt’s crisp white base. As a final touch, the hemline comes with a raw edge, complemented by wide slits on two sides of the waist.
