“I want people to feel good about themselves,” the OVO Sound signee said of the song.
UPDATE (10/07/2019): After releasing his single “Bubbly” last month, Roy Woods has returned with the official music video for the track. The artist continues his celebratory vibes throughout the spot, which sees Woods taking his one-man party across the town with a bottle of champagne in tow. Watch it now above.
ORIGINAL STORY (09/21/2019): Roy Woods has finally followed up February 2019’s “Worth It” with the Daniel Worthy-produced single, “Bubbly.” The OVO Sound signee’s latest offering is an upbeat, celebratory anthem, perfect to play in a club as you pop a bottle of champagne.
While the young rapper vocalizes his ideal way of celebrations — notably with women — Woods provides an overall message of acknowledging and commemorating the victories of life. “There’s music for all types of moods and feelings we go through everyday. With this new song ‘Bubbly,’ I want people to feel good about themselves,” he said. “Whether celebrating a birthday, having drinks with friends or just enjoying yourself after a long school or work week. We all need to let go and let loose sometimes.”
