Reebok Instapump Fury Gets Sanrio Look With Gudetama Design Theme
“The egg with the butt” becomes a design inspiration.
Reebok has collaborated with Sanrio for some special character-themed kicks. One of those characters is Gudetama or as some people know it to be as the “lazy egg.” Gudetama was introduced to the world in 2013 and for some odd reason has become a cultural phenomenon as the “egg with the butt.” Now, Reebok has taken the Sanrio favorite and made some sneakers out of the character’s color scheme.
The shoes are mostly in white, yellow and black but the button pump system has Gudetama’s face on it. Additionally, the lazy egg’s face is once again seen on the heels. The shoes are already vibrant in color but with the addition of the character’s face, it gives the kicks much more of a fun flair.
They’re available now on atmos for ¥20,000 JPYN (approx. $185 USD).
