Nike Revives the Waffle Racer With Vintage "Battle Blue" Colorway
With “Amarillo” highlights.
Nike has further expanded its offerings for the classic 1977 silhouette with a fresh “Battle Blue” colorway of the Waffle Racer.
The retro moccasin-inspired upper pairs “University Blue” suede panels by the toe, eyelets and heel counter with a nylon body in a softer shade of “Battle Blue,” which also paints the “NIKE” logo by the heel. Adding a dash of bright contrast to the otherwise blue-toned sneaker is a vibrant “Amarillo” Swoosh logo running down the lateral side, and up to the heel tab. Completing the look is a pristine white tongue coupled with white laces, a dual-density foam midsole, and a black rubber waffle outsole.
