Rick Ross Drops Visual for 'Port of Miami 2' Standout "Fascinated"
One of the LP’s best cuts is brought to life.
Towards the beginning of this month, Rick Ross released his tenth studio album, Port of Miami 2. The sequel to his acclaimed debut album Port of Miami, Port of Miami 2 delivered 15 new tracks to fans, including collaborations with heavy hitters like Drake, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Nipsey Hussle, Jeezy, Denzel Curry and plenty more. Now, Ross is revisiting his latest LP with a new visual for the standout “Fascinated.”
“I’m still fascinated by a lot of the same things. That’s one thing I do love about myself: How much I remain the same,” Rick Ross recently told GQ when asked about “Fascinated.” “Video games still fascinate me. I just seen the Beavis and Butthead Vans, those fascinate me. There’s a discipline involved in looking at something at face value and trying to have it all. But I’m most definitely fascinated by bad bitches, by success, the list is as long as you can imagine.”
“Longevity will come from what you really bringing to the table. Not who you dating, or whatever else that can make you cool for two weeks,” Ross added, sharing some insight into how he managed to secure a lengthy career in hip-hop. “You need to focus on the music you releasing, that wordplay, that production, the way it feels when it all comes together.” Appropriately, the clip for “Fascinated” sees Ross reflecting on his success, literally, by staring in a mirror and getting measured by a women in furs as photographs of deceased friends fly by.
