Drake & Rick Ross Reconnect for Black & White "Money In The Grave" Video
Delivered in slow motion.
Back in June, Drake released two high-profile singles: “Omerta” and “Money In The Grave” with Rick Ross. The aforementioned double dose of music was placed into a two-part EP known as The Best In The World Pack and was released to help celebrate the Toronto Raptors’ 2019 NBA Championship victory. Now, the OVO superstar is revisiting the Rick Ross-assisted, Asoteric-, Ljay Currie- and Cydney Christine-produced cut for his latest music video. Specifically, Drake and Rick Ross’ “Money In The Grave’ collaboration is brought to life as a slow motion, black and white visual.
“I got hoes that I’m keepin’ in the dark / I got my n***as ‘cross the street livin’ large / Thinkin’ back to the fact that they dead / Thought my raps wasn’t facts ’til they sat with the bars,” Drake raps during the first verse of “Money In The Grave. “I got two phones, one need a charge / Yeah, they twins, I could tell they ass apart.”
“You n***as snitches so I gotta reroute it (So I gotta reroute it) / A n***a drippin’ like I got a zillion dollars,” Rick Ross adds for his own “Money In The Bank” contribution. “Got the trap jumpin’ like Zion when I rebound it / Then I’m out (Then I’m out) / And I’ll never talk about it (About it) / The homies quiet, but we all smoke the loudest (Loudest) / Rich n***as and I’m really bein’ modest / ‘Cause the way I do my deals, never treated like a artist.”
