Fox Searchlight has released a trailer for director Noah Hawley‘s new interstellar drama Lucy in the Sky starring Natalie Portman. Portman plays the character astronaut Lucy Cola who loses touch of reality after returning from an existential experience in space.
In the trailer above, we see Cola look at her home, the planet Earth, from space and slowly realize how small her life is when compared to the vastness of the galaxy. This psychological drama will not go the usual sci-fi route with big action scenes as compared to this year’s other space film Ad Astra starring Brad Pitt. Instead, the flick will focus on the impact of going to space could have on a person. The film will also star Jon Hamm, Zazie Beetz, Dan Stevens, and more.
Lucy in the Sky will arrive in theaters later this fall.
In other entertainment news, the new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer shows Rey as a Sith.
