Apple’s Next iPhone Event Will Take Place on September 10
Time will tell if the iPhone X successor rumors are true.

Apple has confirmed its upcoming annual iPhone event will take place on September 10 at the company’s Apple Park headquarters in Cupertino, California. Although Apple’s invitation doesn’t forecast what the company intends to advertise, rumors imply we’ll see three new iPhone models that’ll serve as the successors to the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max.
Referred to as the iPhone Pro and iPhone 11 line, these handhelds are rumored to feature Apple’s first triple-camera set-up on the rear alongside a slightly bigger 6.1-inch display for the new Max equivalent model. According to Bloomberg, the successor to the iPhone XR (which is suspected to be referred to as simply the iPhone 11) is expected to get a second rear camera and that Apple may forego 3D Touch entirely in favor of the Haptic Touch feature the XR currently utilizes.
A reliable source from xda-developers recently stated the iPhone 11‘s base model will include 128GB of internal storage, twice as much as the current entry-level storage of iPhones. However, the other two storage tiers are supposed to remain at 256GB and 512GB. There are also claims that the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will have a super wide-angle lens with a 120º field of view and 4K support at 30 fps.
Official invitations have already reached associated parties, media, influentials and industry leaders to attend the private event. No information has been shared as of yet on a potential livestream, but stay tuned for any further details.
