Medicom Toy's Sync. Joins PORTER and Hajime Sorayama for "Sexy Robot" Bags
Shiny vinyl highlights the futuristic pin-ups.
Having collaborated on everything from 88rising merch to an entire Dior capsule, Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama‘s signature designs now grace a series of bags as shiny as the images sourced from his “Sexy Robot” series. Medicom Toy’s Sync. sublabel has joined forces with PORTER for a slew of printed vinyl bags, highlighting Sorayama’s colorful creations.
Following the Sorayama x Sync. drop from earlier this year, the latest drop centers around a series of tote and sacoche (sling) bags, with a document pouch also on hand. Executed in bold pink and neutral black, the shiny nylon/PVC accessories emphasize Sorayama’s sexually-charged female robots, which even include one in Marilyn Monroe’s signature pose. Reinforced straps and a variety of substantial pockets ensure that the selection is as useful as it is head-turning, keeping in line with PORTER’s usual attention to detail.
