Nike Preps Minimalist D/MS/X VaporMax Colorway
Tonal white with hits of blue, orange and yellow.
After showcasing the futuristic D/MS/X Vapormax in black tones, Nike has prepped a much lighter-toned take on the running shoe. Executed in clean white shades, the shoe is elevated by pops of bright color.
Tonal hues inform the mesh, TPU mudguards and laces on the upper, extending from the toebox to the sockliner detailing. This minimizes the silhouette’s playful touches, which include multiple uneven holes on the rear lace cage and adjustable strap at the ankle. The rear pull tab, forefoot strap, ankle Swoosh and rubber pads on the outsole offer contrast to the muted detailing above, with bright yellow, orange and blue detailing making for a stark juxtaposition.
Expect the new DM/S/X VaporMax colorway to hit Aphrodite’s web store on August 15.
Most recently, Nike launched a series of China-themed kicks — VaporMax included — as part of the “China Hoop Dreams” pack.
