Nike to Release Air Max 200 in "White/University Red" Colorway
A new color combination for the popular air-infused sneaker.
Just last month, Nike released a red and gold combination of its Air Max 200, shortly after dropping a “1992 World Stage” sneaker inspired by the ‘92 Barcelona Summer Olympics. This time, Nike will release a sneaker in “White/University Red.”
The new Air Max 200 will have the largest Air unit so far, as well as full-length cushion foam that offers maximum comfort. Unlike the previous colorways before that incorporate multiple colors in their designs, the sneaker’s red and white colorway creates an eye-catching contrast that emphasizes its wavy pattern. A white midsole with metallic accents and a translucent outer sole gives the shoe upgraded detailing while remaining subdued enough to allow the red and white combination to pop.
Expect the “White/University Red” Air Max 200 to be available on atmos Tokyo’s website and at select oversea Nike stores for ¥12,000 (approx. $115 USD) beginning August 23.
In other news, Nike releases the Air Force 1 in a patchwork pattern as part of a larger “Zine” pack.
