Nike Drops Its Latest Air Max 200 Clad in "Team Gold/University Red"
Complete with pronounced Air unit bubbles.

Following the last “1992 World Stage” iteration of the Air Max 200, Nike has released its latest rendition of the silhouette in a red and gold combination for the current season. Dubbed “Team Gold/University Red,” the colorway is set on an Air unit foundation, while its vibrant uppers highlight an array of details.
Constructed in a mix of mesh, nubuck and rubber, the Air Max 200 sees a slightly chunky build, accented by pronounced Air unit bubbles at the midsole. “Air Max 200” branding is placed at the top of the tongue over black panels, matching the laces, inner collars, heel and toe cap. Thin blue highlights appear just below the collar and one of the eyelets. To complement the primary color, hits of red appear in a vertical sequence, starting from the upper lace cage to the Swoosh at the sidewalls and finally at the rear Air Unit. Other details like the reflective heel pull and periwinkle mesh, interspersed throughout the uppers, round up the footwear piece.
The Nike Air Max 200 “Team Gold/University Red” will be available on July 26, 10 a.m. EST at nike.com for $120 USD.
Elsewhere, Nike has given its Air Max 98 a retro windbreaker-inspired treatment.
