BEAUTY & YOUTH & New Balance Introduce Newly Designed 997H Leather Pack
Arriving in premium white and black colorways.
BEAUTY & YOUTH and New Balance once again team up on a pack of classic-styled trainers. Arriving for the Spring/Summer 2019 season, the “997H Leather Pack,” as the name implies, features the updated 997 silhouette with plush leather construction.
Working off the blueprint of a model that was originally introduced in the ’90s, but updated with current tech (the “H” in 997H stands for Hypothesis) this pack of 997Hs sees the choice of either an all-black or all-white colorway made in buttery-soft leather. Of course, as this is the updated version of the 997, modern additions can be found in the form of new GCEVA foam and a retooled ENCAP midsole. Other modern fabrics and materials are also incorporated into the shoe for breathability and weight reduction.
The price has also been substantially reduced with this modern take on the 997, as each pair of the BEAUTY & YOUTH x New Balance 997H Leather Pack will retail for ¥12,852 JPY (approximately $120 USD).
