BEAMS and Pokémon Trading Card Game Unite for Expansive Collaboration
Tees, totes, water bottles and an adorable Pikachu plush.

Following joint efforts as varied as a Speedo collaboration and premium Rage Against the Machine tees, BEAMS returns with another off-kilter partnership. This time, BEAMS is commemorating a special Pokémon Trading Card Game event with a wide-ranging capsule of special goods.
A slew of adult’s and children’s T-shirts are on hand, emblazoned with 3D-rendered images of Pokémon ripped straight off the trading cards. Charizard, Mewtwo, Greninja and Pikachu are a few of the characters on hand, each realized in isolated and card form. The black children’s shirts boast information from the cards on the front, with the graphics on the rear, while white adult shirts place the imagery front and center, complete with co-branding. Rounding out the wearables is a set of hats, playing mats, totes, pins, water battles and even an adorable stuffed Pikachu wearing one of the limited tees.
Expect the goods to arrive at BEAMS T Harajuku for the event on August 3 and 4 before hitting the Japanese Pokémon Center web shop and storefronts on August 6.
Most recently, the mobile-only Pokémon Masters game opened general registration.
