BEAMS & Speedo Link for Swimwear Collection
Utilizing Speedo’s aquatic technology.
BEAMS and Speedo have announced their first collaboration just in time for Summer. Constructed with the swimwear technology of Speedo, the collection includes T-shirts, boardshorts, hats and caps suitable for both land and aquatic action.
Utilizing Speedo’s high-tech swimwear fabric LZR Racer, the shorts, hats and caps offer reduced skin friction drag while repelling water and allowing increased body flexibility. Similarly, the T-shirts are crafted with the amphibious Soft Touch Knit material and can double as a T-shirt and a rash guard. The bottoms are offered in numerous variations such as orange, purple, blue and black, but the T-shirts only come in either black or white. The cap and bucket hat are only available in black, but they do feature the collection-exclusive Speedo logo in retro colors for a pop of contrast.
The BEAMS x Speedo swimwear collection retails for approximately $55 USD for the cap, $65 USD for the bucket hat, $85 USD for the T-shirts and $140 USD for the boardshorts. Cop the full line starting July 6 at NEUTRALWORKS.TOKYO and BEAMS Harajuku, BEAMS Roppongi Hills, BEAMS Japan and BEAMS Street Umeda.
