Rich the Kid, Miguel & Ty Dolla $ign Reconnect for New "Woah" Video
One of the highlights of ‘The World Is Yours 2.’
Back in March, Rich the Kid released his sophomore studio album, The World Is Yours 2. Comprised of 16 new tracks, the LP contained a star-studded list of features, with guest contributions coming from Young Thug, Gunna, Offset, Big Sean, Tory Lanez, NAV, Lil Pump, NBA Youngboy and more. Now, continuing to support his most recent project, Rich the Kid is back with a new visual in support of one of its highlights, the Miguel- and Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “Woah.” Produced by Rex Kudo and Sevn Thomas, “Woah” receives its own music video courtesy of director Bobby Hanaford.
“I like bringing the best out of the track. When I do a track, I pick the beat, and I have a very unique beat selection,” Rich the Kid previously shared with Billboard, opening up about his approach to collaborative cuts like “Woah.” “After I make the song, I try to hear who I would hear on the song for the fans. Not only for myself, but I be like, ‘Yo. Who would really be good on this?’ So, that’s how I go about collaborating with people.”
“Me and Miguel did the record, and it was dope I did one verse to it, and then I changed it,” the 26-year-old adds, breaking down the back-story behind his Miguel and Ty Dolla $ign collaboration. “When I got to New York, I sent it to Ty Dolla, he sent it back to me the same day, like in two hours and you already know it’s a smash.”
