Korea’s Gakuro has built a following upon its thoughtful, reconstructed menswear styling, despite only launching in 2018. For Fall/Winter 2019, the brand continues developing its expansive tastes, touching upon raw-hemmed tailoring and patchwork sportswear with a muted palette.

Black duffle coats, hoodies and trousers give the looks an air of severity, subverted by raw hems, slouchy cuts and playful Kiko Kostadinov footwear. Threads dangle from the bottom of several shirts, blazers and slacks, providing a rugged alternative to sleek paint-splatter woodland camouflage bomber jackets and shirts. Color-saturated jackets and cargo pants provide rare pops of color against the understated base layers, bolstered by patterned scarves and leopard-patterned lining tucked inside a fleece jacket.

Shop Gakuro’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection when it hits 8DIVISION’s international web store in the coming weeks.
