Nike Preps Patchworked Air Force 1 "Zine"
An eclectic print inspired by indie magazines.
After releasing the Air Force 1 “Off Noir/Pure Platinum” with a series of doodle prints, Nike is preparing to give the classic silhouette a magazine-inspired makeover. The upcoming edition, which is slated to be a part of a larger “Zine” pack, features a patchwork design along the upper and is layered with “Flash Crimson” and pink Swooshes for a bright touch.
Denim swatches and gridded patterns make up the underlays, while the overlays are coated in lavender around the toe cap to balance it out with a softer tone. Meanwhile, sketch-like drawings are pasted on the back heel to continue the overall eclectic look. It’s rounded off with white laces and a white midsole for a clean finish.
