‘Mobile Suit Gundam’ Celebrates 40th Anniversary in New Video
Commemorating the longevity of the franchise.
Mobile Suit Gundam has released a two-minute trailer celebrating its franchise and long-running legacy as the premier mech series within the anime community.
The franchise currently has a litany of project abound, including a live-action Hollywood adaptation written by Brian K. Vaughn and produced by Legendary Entertainment. The footage above recaps past Gundam series like Gundam Wing alongside newer shows like the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash slated to debut later this year. Recently, UNIQLO dropped a collection in celebration of the premiere series’ milestone achievement.
Other adaptations, like Gundam Reconguista in G The Movie, SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden, and MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THE ORIGIN Advent of the Red Comet are featured as well.
