Jeezy Makes His Return With New Single "1 Time"
The track is rumored to be the lead single for his “final” album.
Towards the end of last month, Master P and Jeezy teamed up for a Drumma Boy-produced collaboration known as “Gone.”, Now, Jeezy is debuting a new single of his own, “1 Time.”
“1 Time” is reportedly the first single for Jeezy’s “final” studio album TM104. The fourth entry in Jeezy’s acclaimed Thug Motivation series, Thug Motivation 104 was originally announced in March of 2018.
“As the Cold Summer tour comes to a end.. It was inspiring seeing my day one fans since my first album & class TM 101 come out every night. Now class is coming to a end,” Jeezy previously shared on Twitter. “It’s time for Graduation! My Last Album & Final Class: TM104.”
“You can’t stop pushing yourself. The minute you become comfortable and feel like you’ve accomplished your goals is the minute it’s over,” Jeezy explained to Billboard during a 2017 interview, sharing some insight into his current motivations and mindset. “I’ve had that dog with a fire burning in my stomach when I was living in a trailer that wasn’t no bigger than this room. Every day I’m going to set bigger and better goals for myself. I get it all the time: ‘Such and such is better [than you].’ That’s cool, but he’s not me. I never came in and said that I was the best rapper. I said I finna come in and get this money, n***a. That was the whole goal.”
