Nike SB has dropped a duo of terry cloth-heeled Blazer Mids as it gears up for the colder months awaiting. The predominately white leather sneaker comes in a standout “Team Red” offering or a subtler “Celestial Gold” iteration, delivering a vintage aesthetic.
The chenille-esque material seen on the heel tab section is thick, textured and fluffy. It comes in a muted shade based on each shoe’s colorway and features white “NIKE” embroidery placed in the middle. Nike drew inspiration from gym sweatshorts for the Blazer Mid pack, providing a look that harks back to the sneaker’s basketball heritage.
Nike finished the Blazer Mid with a vulcanized Zoom Air sole unit and a tacky rubber outsole that provides an already-broken-in feel. Rounding off its design is the use of premium leather that will develop a naturally worn aesthetic, as well as tonal tongue tabs and insoles.
Both pairs of the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Premium are available from Nike.com and select Nike SB stockists for £79.95 GBP (approx. $100 USD).
