PUMA has supported its RS-X sneaker with several releases in the range over the past few months, including collaborative editions with the likes of Shoe Palace and Han Kjøbenhavn. Now, the brand looks back to its own ’80s-bred RS running technology for its newest take on the trainer, amplifying the shoe with super-plush padding throughout for one of its most cushioned takes to date.
The latest in the line — accordingly entitled the “Softcase” — combines mesh and leather on the upper, which is featured in a muted white and grey colorway for a contemporary look. In tandem with the premium padding, the shoe is also plumped up with foam backing and a lightweight midsole to offer a comfy fit. A micro-sized “RS Running System” emblem adds branding on the lateral side, while a PUMA cat and “RS-X” moniker hold down the logos on the tongue to round it off.
The RS-X Softcase Sneakers are priced at $110 USD and available now from PUMA’s webstore.
