Heron Preston Teases New Levi's Capsule for SS20
Titled “Mistakes are OK.”

Fresh off of his Levi’s 501 Jeans capsule released earlier in March, Heron Preston is looking to expand on his collaboration with the denim purveyor for Spring/Summer 2020.
Taking to his personal Instagram account to share details on the upcoming project titled “Mistakes are OK,” Preston revealed a few photos of the forthcoming looks along with stating the collection is inspired by his own life.
“My next @levis collab for SS20 is called “Mistakes are OK” inspired by a tattoo on my arm that reads 1873 MISTAKES ARE OK,” the caption reads. “The hospital where I was born accidentally recorded my birth year as 1873 instead of 1983 on my birth certificate. 1873 is also the year Levi’s was founded. As a result, the collaboration takes denim and builds in conscious aberrations: re-shaped & misplaced pockets, mismatched buttons and rivets, incorrectly cut labels, reversed belt loops, exposed linings, asymmetric accenting and off register resin prints.”
The range includes both pants and jackets with some items dressed in bold pink. Heron’s take on the looks include orange buttons, inverted pockets and other intentionally misplaced details. Of course his signature orange label lays alongside branding from Levi’s. Keep it locked here for more details on Heron Preston’s upcoming Levi’s collection when they surface.
