While Nike has been releasing various iterations of its Blazer silhouette, like the recently unveiled throwback ‘77 vintage colorway, the Beaverton footwear giant is also adding an SB version to the slate, in collaboration with Elissa Steamer’s Gnarhunters.

Dubbed, “Gnarhunters,” this iteration of the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid marks the first co-sign between Nike and Gnarhunters. A black tumbled leather upper and contrasting heel and sole are put together for a monochromatic color scheme. Nike branding is embroidered over the upper suede heel panel, etched in Gnarhunters’ distinctive typeface. The skate and surf label’s diamond-shaped “G” logo is repeated over a muted charcoal Swoosh. All of these details sits atop a crisp white midsole in classic Blazer style.

Elissa Steamer has noted: “The Blazer is what I ride in. I’ve always liked how thin the upper is and how flexible the sole is. The toe is in the right place — there’s nothing hitting my pinky toe weird. It’s also rad to me that the shoe is being offered in unisex sizing.”

The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid “Gnarhunters” will be available on June 29 at nike.com and at select retailers.

In other related news, Nike has unveiled the prototype-inspired AF1-Type.
