The OBJ x Nike Air Max 720 "Young King of the People" Gets a Nike SNKRS Release (UPDATE)

UPDATE (September 2, 2019): After almost two months, the previously-named “Desert Ore” iteration of Odell Beckham Jr. and Nike’s Air Max 720 collaboration is releasing on Nike SNKRS. Taking on the name “Young King of the People,” the newest model is inspired by sand dunes from Egypt to Louisiana and features insignias from OBJ’s Egyptian hieroglyphic-inspired alphabet.

ORIGINAL STORY (June 23, 2019): A new colorway of Odell Beckham Jr. and Nike‘s Air Max 720 collaboration has dropped. Taking a 180 from its bold “Young King of the Drip” predecessor, “Desert Ore” arrives in cool tones of tan and grey laid out on layers of mesh, suede and leather. Still retaining the silhouette’s distinct details, the latest makeup includes the velcro tongue patch, multicolored tongue and heel tabs, a cork insole and stamped branding elements by the heel. The model rests on a clear 38mm Air Max 720 unit, assisted by an ore-colored support shank for an elevated finish.
The OBJ x Nike Air Max 720 “Desert Ore” is available now at select retailers like hypedc.com for $270 USD.
