Teaser for Netflix's 'Rhythm + Flow' Sees Chance the Rapper, Cardi B, & T.I. as Hip-Hop Talent Scouts
The forthcoming rap competition show arrives next month.
After introducing the rap audition show Rhythm + Flow late last year, Netflix has now released the teaser trailer for the upcoming series. Tapping Chance the Rapper, Cardi B, and T.I. as talent scouts and judges, the new show will see the trio traveling across the United States, hitting Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City in order to “search for the next hip-hop sensation.” Throughout the show, the judges will take on new talent in order to “help undiscovered artists pursue their come up.”
Within the newly released trailer, you can hear Chance stating that “creativity doesn’t have blueprints,” with Cardi B sharing that “it’s gonna be litty like a f*cking city.” The 10-episode show will roll out over the course of three weeks and is Netflix’s first official music auditioning TV program. The first four episodes will release on October 9 (the various cities auditions). The following week (October 16) will see three episodes being released that focus on cyphers, music videos, and rap battles. The final week’s (October 23) three episodes will hone in on sampling and collaborations, as well as a finale to declare the “next hip-hop sensation.”
