Nike's React Ianga "10th Collection" Receives an Official Release Date (UPDATE)

UPDATE (September 2, 2019): Nike‘s React Ianga “10th Collection” has now received an official release date. The sneaker — inspired by Nike’s founding father Bill Bowerman‘s heroics when he served as a major in the army’s 10th Mountain Division during World War II — will release September 6, at 10 pm.

For those interested, the pair will be available over at Nike’s online store, retailing for $130 USD.

ORIGINAL STORY (June 14, 2019): Nike unveiled three upcoming sportswear lines yesterday, presenting a set of futuristic takes on some of its popular footwear styles. Since the announcement, an additional silhouette dubbed the React Ianga has surfaced as a part of THE10TH collection, adding a high-top edition to the black and wheat-colored range.

The React Ianga is layered with canvas, leather and suede panels on the upper, which is coated in black and contrasted with a tan heel. More wheat tones make their way onto the side panel where an oval design has been stitched in the center of the shoe. Similar to its React Sertu counterpart, the midsole is featured in white while rubber elements in light brown and orange provide color. Branding is added via a mini Swoosh on the throat, as well as a pull tab at the collar that has been stamped with “THE10TH,” rounding it all off.

Nike’s React Ianga is priced at €130 EUR (approximately $145 USD) and slated to release in September at Nike’s webstore and retailers such as sivasdescalzo. Stay tuned for more details on the new silhouette.
