With that date locked, it’s a good moment to look at what this all-dark version brings to the table.

The shoe is built on Nike Mind technology, a system that came out of the brand’s in-house Mind Science Department. Twenty-two individual nodes sit in the outsole and move up and down as the wearer walks, pressing into the bottom of the foot in a pattern Nike says science has shown to activate sensory areas of the brain.
