The Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Max Goadome Low Gets Its First Official Look
Stitched cutouts borrowed from the Nike Tailwind 4 open up the sidewalls, while metal D-rings take the place of standard eyelets.

The Carhartt WIP x Nike Air Max Goadome Low takes Nike’s rugged lifestyle silhouette and outfits it with utility details pulled straight from the workwear playbook. Official images of the “Twilight Marsh” colorway have now surfaced via Nike, showing a reworked upper that departs from the standard Goadome build in both structure and hardware.
The most noticeable change sits along the sidewalls, where Carhartt WIP carves out an open section edged in stitching that recalls the Nike Tailwind 4. On the “Twilight Marsh” pair, Nike’s photos show canvas filling those side zones while leather overlays wrap the rest of the upper, giving the shoe a layered, almost patched-together construction. Earlier reports pointed to suede on the tan and other earth-toned pairs and leather on the black version, so final materials may vary by colorway.
Hardware does much of the talking from there. Rope laces thread through metal D-rings instead of standard eyelets, a detail more at home on a work boot than a sneaker, while a small metallic Swoosh replaces the usual oversized branding on the side panel. Carhartt WIP’s own identity shows up in two places, with a leather patch on the tongue and a black Carhartt label tacked near the outer side of the shoe.
Each of the three colorways mixes the same core palette in a different order. “Twilight Marsh” pairs its namesake shade with Light British Tan, Light Cream and Black, “Light British Tan” brings in Metallic Ochre, Twilight Marsh, Black and Dark Cinder, and the “Black” pair keeps things darkest with Twilight Marsh and Light British Tan accents.
The Goadome has long sat closer to a boot than a runner, with a chunky, protective profile that makes it a natural canvas for Carhartt WIP’s utility-minded approach. The project also marks the label’s first collaboration with Nike since 2018.
