Sony Releases Stunning Teaser Trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake
Hope rises from the ashes of Sector 7.
Since its PlayStation release in 1997, Final Fantasy VII has captured the hearts of many RPG fans and gamers. With its revolutionary (at the time) gameplay which saw the use of Materia, coupled with an amazing roster of characters, musical score, and storyline, it is easy see why the game is often regarded as one of the greatest role-playing games of all time.
After years of fan-made mock-ups and rumors, not to mention Sony PlayStation’s 2015 E3 teaser, we finally have some solid info. Upon first glance, the teaser looks similar to the 2015 render, but it is all in the details as you notice that the battle sequence has been improved, and shading has been upgraded; it’s overall a more refined and smoother teaser — an indication that the Square-Enix team has been putting in work.
The video continues to tease the intro stage of FFVII as the AVALANCHE group infiltrates Midgar’s Sector 1 reactor.
There is no look at what the WEAPONS or summons will look like with the enhanced graphics, but stay tuned as Sony promises a new update this coming June.
In other entertainment news, The Losers Club is all grown up in IT: Chapter 2.
Here’s the Teaser Trailer for #FinalFantasy VII Remake that was introduced just now at #StateofPlay.
