Cardi B surprised the crowd at her Fashion Nova launch with a performance of “Old Town Road” with Lil Nas X.
Dressed in a green bodysuit matching her hair’s ombré, Cardi touched on how difficult it actually is to top the Billboard charts and how proud she gets when she sees someone achieve such a historical feat. “And I wanna say, I’m very proud of this young guy who’s about to come up and f*ck up the stage,” she said in her introduction of the newbie. “He’s number one, and he’s still being number one after they tried to deny him,” she added, greatly emphasizing on the word “deny” in reference to the removal of his song from Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
