Mac DeMarco Tackles Personal Issues on Latest Album, 'Comes The Cowboy'

Following the release of This Old Dog, Mac DeMarco is back again with his fourth full-length LP, Here Comes the Cowboy.
Introduced via a series of singles accompanied by interesting and evocative visuals, the latest 13-track project sees the LA-based Canadian singer-songwriter delve back into personal issues related to themes of aging and family relationships. Throughout the LP, DeMarco takes on the persona of a cowboy, navigating trials and tribulations with a laidback demeanor. This interesting demeanor starts unraveling on melodic takes like “Finally Alone” and “Hey Cowgirl.” Other standouts on album include lead singles “All Of Our Yesterdays,” “On The Square,” along with plainspoken tracks “K” and “Heart to Heart.”
