On-Court With Converse's All-Star Pro BB Basketball Sneakers

A welcome return to the court, Converse is once again entering the world of basketball with its All-Star Pro BB silhouette. A contemporary update to the original basketball sneaker, we took two iterations of the Pro BB on a game of street hoops for a special on-feet look.
Showcased with white and black Quadifit mesh uppers, the sleek shoe retains much of what made the Chuck Taylor an everlasting footwear icon. Subtle touches include a tonal All-Star patch on the medial side, with more overt upgrdes provided by way of React foam outsoles that are as lightweight as they are responsive.
Intended to allow for snappy turns and breezy leaps, the soles boast extended durability alongside an engineered shape that intelligently distributes the load of the foot. The end result is a timeless, attractive take on the All-Star, with lateral side Chevron Stars that also recall the classic Weapon, offset by contrasting orange stitching and foxing.
The Converse All-Star Pro BB is one of this week’s key sneaker drops, launching May 18 via Converse’s website.
