Trophy Room Issues Two Limited Air Jordan 5 Retro Colorways
Limited “Ice Blue” and ultra-rare Friends & Family “Red.”

Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room is reuniting with Jordan Brand for a special release centering around two covetable Air Jordan 5 Retro silhouettes. An “Ice Blue” and Friends & Family-only Red colorway boast limited numbers — 7,000 numbered pairs of the former and 223 of the latter — and premium detailing across the classic silhouette.
“This launch is more than just a sneaker to me,” Marcus Jordan said in a statement. “I wanted our first iteration of [an Air Jordan] 1-14 Retro to be something special & memorable. It was important for the design to be authentic & unique, so I incorporated all of the colors from the original trophy room in our house into one of my favorite silhouettes, the Jordan 5.”
“Sail” and touches of Red appear on the Air Jordan 5 Retro “Ice Blue” alongside the namesake color, granting matching tones to the plush suede upper and icy outsole. Gold accents on the lateral side “5” and “23” complement the shiny lace lock reaffirming the trophy room aesthetic. The Friends & Family Red iteration sports similar blue accents on the midfoot panel, but swapsthe black Jumpman on the “Ice Blue” pair for cool-hued Nike Air branding. A premium shoebox, plush dustbag, court-printed wrapping paper and co-branded cork insoles complete the upscale take on the iconic basketball sneakers.
Expect the Air Jordan Retro 5 “Ice Blue” to drop on May 18 via a special first-come, first-served launch at Celine Orlando, with each pair weighing in at $200 USD. The Friends & Family Red pair, naturally, will not be available.
For Father’s Day ‘16, we spoke with Marcus on what to get for the dad who has everything. Perhaps Michael Jordan will be receiving one of Trophy Room’s red AJ5 sneakers this year.
