UNDEFEATED and Jordan Brand are making a 2027 return with an Air Jordan 5 reinterpreted in a “Moon Fossil” colorway. The legendary partners made history in 2005 with Jordan’s first-ever collaboration by releasing a military-inspired Air Jordan 4. After reprising the AJ4 with a refresh 20 years later in 2025, the collaborators are moving on up to the Air Jordan 5.

The “Moon Fossil” colorway features a tan canvas upper, a translucent blue outsole, and black midsoles with a shark-tooth accent. Notably, the lateral side features decorative spiral embroidery and a deconstructed overlock stitch following the contours of the collar. For branding, the collaborators embroidered the UNDEFEATED emblem on the lateral and a co-branded wordmark on the heel, both rendered in olive green thread. While the design shifts away from their AJ4’s full olive green upper, the new AJ5 maintains the military-inspired essence of the collaboration with an aged canvas materiality. Jordan’s classic gray and red palette appear on the oversized tongue, where the red Jumpman symbol lives in its central placement and a reflective stripe runs through the middle.
