Tame Impala Adds North American Dates to Fall 2019 Tour (UPDATE)

UPDATE (7 August 2019): Tame Impala is adding a set of Fall tour dates around their appearance at Austin City Limits this October. Kevin Parker and company are set to take a month-long break between the last August show in Washington, DC and the first tour date of October in Irving, Texas.

ORIGINAL STORY (23 April 2019): Fresh off a much-talked-about and critically-acclaimed Coachella performance, Tame Impala are adding several new shows to their current 2019 tour itinerary.
Specifically, Tame Impala’s latest spring and summer trek now has dates for newly-announced New York, New York, Washington, DC, Toronto, Philadelphia and Minneapolis performances; the band have also been booked to take the stage at Mo Pop festival in Detroit and Oya Fest in Oslo, Norway. Tame Impala will be on the road from the beginning of May to the end of August to support and promote their fourth studio album and the follow-up to 2015’s Currents, which currently doesn’t have a title, release date or tracklist.
