Brands high and low have dabbled in the hiking sneaker trend this season, and KENZO is the latest to put out its own iteration of the footwear. The brand’s “Inka” shoe features a chunky, lug-soled bottom and speckled details that play up the neutral colorway.

It’s constructed of leather, mesh and suede paneling along the upper, which is featured in a minimal palette of white and grey. The midsole is accentuated with a splattered black and white design that offers a hit of print. Other highlights include a zig-zag lacekeeper strip with striped laces, a bright red “KENZO” patch on the tongue and a logo-embossed strap at the heel. A black toebox rounds it off with a touch of contrast.

Priced at $495 USD, KENZO’s Inka Wraparound-Lace Sneakers are available now from select retailers like Neiman Marcus and LUISAVIAROMA.

As for the hiking wear movement, HYPEBEAST recently looked into the phenomenon to understand why luxury brands like Acne and Off-White™ are tapping into the outdoors.
