Action Bronson Presents PLANET FROG
Preceded by its flourishing creative world, Action Bronson’s eighth studio album has landed at last. PLANET FROG is what Bronson calls his “most important work” and “a deep sea odyssey set in a future world.” Lead single “TRICERATOPS” with Paul Wall and Lil Yachty finds its way onto the final 13-song tracklist, along with a feature Roc Marciano on “PEPPERS” and Mayhem Lauren on “MANDEM.”
Little Simz’s Sugar Girl EP Is For The Club
Leave it to Little Simz to take us on a trip in just four tracks. She does just that on her newest EP, Sugar Girl, which is her first release since last year’s acclaimed Lotus and leans into the sound Simz has settled into in her DJ sets. We’ve been waiting for “Game On,” the track she debuted with JT during her Weekend 1 Coachella set, ever since it’s April premiere, with other features coming from 070 Shake on “Telephone” and DEELA on “Open Arms.”
Deb Never Makes Her Formal Debut on Arcade
It’s hard to believe this is Deb Never’s debut album. Proceeded by a solid string of singles, Arcade hears the indie musician at her apex, delivering some of her most vulnerable lyrics atop her guitar.
Charli XCX Enters Her Rock Era – Or Does She?
Charli XCX has shared the first sign of life from the post-brat era. Dare we say, it sounds just like brat? Dubbed “rock music,” the icon’s new track isn’t exactly rock, but hey, we’ll take it.
SWAVAY Returns With THE PRELUDE
Announced just last week, SWAVAY has stepped back into the spotlight with another solid EP: THE PRELUDE. He kept details under wraps about the project, but now that it’s here in full form, the record spans seven all-new tracks, including a freestyle over a Jermaine Dupri beat. THE PRELUDE signals the UK rapper’s first release since NO DELUXE.
Action Bronson’s Forthcoming PLANET FROG Album Comes With an Accompanying BAKLAVA Drop
After taking the Wheel of Fortune stage last week to formally reveal his eighth studio album, Action Bronson is revving up the PLANET FROG rollout as we near its Friday release date. Bam Bam Baklava brings his partnership with New Balance into the cut for the rollout, with a new earthy colorway of his collaborative New Balance 1890 model leading the merch lineup. New Balance isn’t the only collaborator getting in on the Baklava brigade; Oakley also steps into the forest for FROG, Bronson working with the eyewear imprint to craft a handful of sunglass silhouettes among other technical outerwear garments.

New New Detroit is here. A quick six-songer, rising underground rapper Lelo continues to rep for his Midwest city on his latest studio EP. Dubbed Mastiff, the record’s run time is an easy 15-minute listen, with one feature from Apolloscase.
Jon Batiste Flexes Two Interpretations of the Met Gala Theme
Jon Batiste did not wait until he took to the Met Steps to show off his interpretation of this year’s theme. Batiste took the “Costume Art” exhibition to the streets of New York City for his pre-Met errands, stepping out of the Mark Hotel in a Superman graphic tee and jeans. The seemingly effortless fit was spearheaded by ERL, and paid tribute to artist Barkley L. Hendricks’ 1969 piece Icon for My Man Superman (Superman never saved any black people – Bobby Seale). For his formal opus, Batiste – who ended up being one of our best-dressed stars of the night – donned a regal, all-white, custom ERL Artisanal Look. Designed by Eli Russell Linnetz in collaboration with stylist Corey Stokes and Hendricks’ Estate, the look was a direct nod to Hendricks’ seminal 1976 painting, Steve. Read more here.

A$AP Rocky Pulled Up to the Met in DON’T BE DUMB PAVĒ NITEŌ Drip
The King of the Met Carpet made his stride onto his familiar territory once again, dressed to the nines and dripping more than ever. All of A$AP Rocky‘s custom ice was crafted in collaboration between his own jewelry label, PAVĒ NITEŌ, and the historic Venetian jeweler Codognato. The standout piece? The 18-carat-gold, enamel, and diamond-crusted Grim de la Grim necklace, which spotlights the rapper’s green-faced DON’T BE DUMB character, Grim. Grim also makes his way onto the Grim Ring, inspired by the green face of the witch from The Wizard of Oz, with pink hair curlers and a megaphone, with the final piece in the trifecta taking the shape of a Cross.
Ovrkast. Drops Off “PLAY THIS”
Hypetrak Magazine star Ovrkast. has lifted the veil on his second consistent single of 2026. On the heels of the Niontay-featuring “WATA” comes the Frankenstein-fronted “PLAY THIS,” the single Kast has been teasing on his socials – by way of images of the Mary Shelley-inspired cover art – for a couple of weeks now. Two tracks in less than a month? We’re hoping an album is in the works sometime soon…
Skepta’s Actual Tattoos Are All Over His Met Gala Look
Big Smoke is always one of our most anticipated carpet arrivals, known to pull out a super-clean, fresh-off-the-runway piece or a custom MAINS moment. For this year’s Met, Skepta showed out in one of our favorite looks of the evening, donning a custom Thom Browne suit that came embroidered with actual depictions of his real tattoos.
For The Carters, The Met Gala Is a Family Affair
