When the mindful luxury of California-based District Vision collides with the structural, experimental ethos of Seoul’s POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF), the result is nothing short of exceptional. Building on their highly successful ongoing partnership, the two brands have officially unveiled their latest collaborative project: the Koharu Eclipse S3. Merging high-fashion architectural design with rigorous, world-class athletic performance specs, this new eyewear release is engineered to handle intense physical activity without sacrificing an ounce of style.
Meticulously manufactured in Japan, the Koharu Eclipse S3 introduces custom lens cuts developed exclusively for this specific collaboration. The core of the design is a dynamic six-base blade-style frame that wraps the face, purposely constructed to shield the eyes from the elements while drastically enhancing the wearer’s overall field of vision. Tailored specifically for running and cycling, the frame ensures a secure, locked-in fit via custom-shaped temples reinforced with a titanium core and an adjustable, hypoallergenic rubber nose pad.
To guarantee peak optical clarity, the collaboration utilizes District Vision’s renowned, hand-sculpted D+ lens technology, designed to provide enhanced contrast and supreme eye comfort across shifting light environments. The debut lineup offers three distinct, nature-inspired palettes to choose from. The “Deep Sea” frame is paired with a D+ Brown Gradient lens, the “Lichen” opts for a D+ Sports Gray lens, and the “Sand” colorway rounds out the pack with a striking D+ Black Rose Gradient lens. To capture the essence of the release, the brands tapped photographer Steven John Miner for a sleek, movement-focused campaign.
Whether you are logging heavy miles on the trail, cycling through the city, or simply elevating your daily streetwear rotation, the Koharu Eclipse S3 delivers on all fronts. Priced at $370 USD, the frames will launch online at 11 a.m. KST on May 9, 2026 at District Vision and PAF before hitting select global stockists on May 16.
