Björk Shape-Shifts in the Trippy Visuals for 'Losss'
The avant-garde artist returns with more breathtaking imagery.
Björk began a stage show based off her 2017 album Utopia called Cornucopia, which utilized animated projections from digital artist Tobias Gremmler. The two have now joined forces for Bjork’s new music video “Losss,” and in an Instagram post sharing the video, the artist talks about Gremmler’s talent and what went into making the video.
“noone captures digital sensuality like him, elegant and expressive !!!!” Björk says. “this is made for the multiple of screens of cornucopia and we share it all here on 1 for your laptop screen … we based it on the conversations between our inner optimist and pessimist, when i recorded this i tried to sing in a deeper tone for one of them and if you listen on headphones it will match the imagery.”
The videos above feature Björk shape-shifting in an endless void of psychedelic visuals. The video sees Björk floating and shape-shifting alongside the track while vivid colors splash on the screen.
