8 Drops You Don't Want to Miss This Week
Featuring Supreme, BAPE, NIKECRAFT, Dior and Palace.
This week’s installment of our product drops series is led by the arrival of Supreme‘s 25th anniversary Swarvoski releases and the ninth delivery of its Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The notable drops include eight releases comprised mostly of collaborations. Accompanying Supreme’s Week 9 drop, this week we have an impressive array of powerhouse team-ups that put together an array of must-have street staples.
Standout team-ups include the highly anticipated Hajime Sorayama x Dior Men “Retro-Futuristic” collection, the SSENSE exclusive Palm Angels “Palm x Palm” capsule and the Dr. Woo x sacai SS19 capsule. Celebrating the release of Avengers: Endgame, BAPE and Marvel came together for a vintage comic-fueled range and the Jun Takahashi, NIGO and Tetsu Nishiyama Star Wars x Uniqlo UT collection. Finally, Tom Sachs and Nike have come together to create the NIKECRAFT Transitions apparel line.

Hajime Sorayama x Dior Men “Retro-Futuristic” Collection
Dior Men has launched its Fall/Winter 2019 collection online, presenting a capsule of “retro-futuristic” pieces laden with prints by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama. The new drop encompasses casual staples stamped with cherry blossom artwork, including footwear, graphical tops and accessories.
Holding down the shoe category is Dior’s B23 high-top sneaker, which features a blue canvas upper under its signature translucent paneling. The shoe is emblazoned with one of Dior and Sorayama’s special Oblique patterns that highlight the pink florals alongside a dinosaur-robot illustration. Similar unique prints fill out the fleece sweatshirt, crafted in gray marl, and the jersey tees, which are offered in black and white. A bandana, cardholder and dinosaur necklace round it all out.

Palm Angeles “Palm x Palm” Capsule
Palm Angels has released an exclusive capsule on SSENSE featuring three new pieces, dubbed simply the “Palm x Palm” collection. The drop includes two cotton T-shirts and a French terry hoodie that have all been marked with brand logos and drawings. A palm tree makes up the defining image throughout, while the “Palm Angels x Palm Angels” logo cements the quirkiness of the in-house “collaboration.”

Supreme Spring/Summer 2019 Collection Drop 9
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Supreme has prepared Swarovski Box Logo Hoodies and T-shirts to go along with its Week 9 offerings. With 1,201 crystals on the Hoodie and 1,161 crystals on the T-shirts, each bedazzled take on the iconic motif was applied meticulously by hand in NYC. Sure to be highly coveted items the Box Logo Hooded Sweatshirt will be available in gray, black, navy and red while the T-shirt will be available in white, black and red.
The accompanying SS19 Drop 9 is led by the GORE-TEX Poncho, Spider Web Quilted Work Jacket, Signature Script Logo Longsleeve Pocket T-shirt and Lenticular Logo Camp Cap. This week’s boldly branded accessories come in the form of ENO DoubleNest Hammock in three colorways and a duo of Victorinox Classic Alox Knives.

Palace LA Exclusive Capsule
To celebrate the opening of its new flagship store in Los Angeles, Palace Skateboards put together an exclusive capsule centered around the sunny city.
The special range is led by T-shirts and hoodies dressed in dip-dyes and bold color, along with wetsuits done in collaboration with Oakley. While footwear, skate decks, sunglasses stickers, pins and caps serve to round up the drop. Maintaining a playful aesthetic, the pony-haired loafers embellished with golden “P” buckles and the Oakley sunglasses come in vibrant and bold retro colorways.

Dr. Woo x sacai Spring/Summer 2019 Capsule
Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Dr. Woo and sacai have teamed up once again, this time for a Spring/Summer 2019 capsule of elevated streetwear pieces. The assortment includes souvenir jackets, side-zip hoodies and T-shirts, which have been crafted in materials such as cotton and delicate silk. Meanwhile, each item features intricate embroidery from Dr. Woo such as eagles, spiders and flower designs.
The collection will release in two installments, beginning with a drop on April 27 and followed by a release on May 18.

Marvel Comics x BAPE Collaboration Spring/Summer 2019
Marvel Comics and BAPE have reunited for a Spring/Summer 2019 collaboration right in time for the upcoming premiere of Avengers: Endgame. The assortment spotlights the comic book publisher’s biggest characters including Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk and Thor. Within the range are several graphic T-shirts featuring old school superhero illustrations (Golden Age and Silver Age designs), alongside a matching Ape Head printed with camo and Marvel Comics’ logos. Accessories including stickers, a key chain and an Ape Head-shaped clock round everything out.

Tom Sachs x NIKECRAFT Poncho & Transitions Collection
Continuing their collaborative relationship, Tom Sachs and Nike recently revealed the upcoming release of the NIKECRAFT Transitions collection. Led by a meticulously designed poncho, the special line was created by Sachs in close collaboration with Jarrett Reynolds, Nike’s senior design director for apparel special projects.
The product of numerous prototypes and countless tests and tweaks, the poncho highlights the defining elements of the upcoming NIKECRAFT Transitions collection, namely transparency to promote learning and trigger creative intrigue. The NIKECRAFT Poncho is constructed of the same Dyneema®️ fabric used on the Mars Yard Overshoe and the trinity case features ceramic beads created by Sachs’ studio. A fidlock buckle offers ease of use and the print at the rear proudly reveals the item was manufactured in Vietnam.

‘Star Wars’ x Uniqlo UT NIGO, Jun Takahashi and Tetsu Nishiyama T-Shirt Capsule
Known for its celebration of some of the most iconic franchises, UNIQLO UT recently tapped NIGO, UNDERCOVER’s Jun Takahashi and Tetsu Nishiyama of WTAPS to reinterpreted and rework images from the Star Wars.
Part of UNIQLO’s new Master of Graphics project, Jun’s T-shirt offerings spotlight R2-D2, C-3PO and the furry Ewoks because of his love for the prop based characters. While NIGO looked to celebrate his favorite character, bounty-hunter Greedo and beloved Yoda. Finally, Tetsu Nishiyama took a playful approach created a Mandalorian recruitment poster T-shirt and a callback to the obscure Dewback, a reptile creature which only appeared in some movies.
