Christian Wilkins Shops for Power Rangers-Inspired NFL Draft Look
Tackling red carpet style.
The NFL Draft will be one of the most life changing nights for draftee Christian Wilkins — and he needs a look equally as colossal for the event. The 23-year-old defensive lineman is projected to be a first round pick on Thursday evening in Nashville, marking the beginning of his professional football career. His style inspiration for the pivotal evening? The White Power Ranger. The reference has meaning to Wilkins, whose defensive line at Clemson University referred to themselves as the super hero collective, with Wilkins embodying the White Ranger.
Channeling his alter ego and nodding to his former teammates, the 6’ 3” player chose a custom white suit as the base of his look. To drive home the super hero aesthetic, he headed to Barneys New York to boldly accessorize the suit with onyx cufflinks and a flashy timepiece. Wilkins will sport the look on Thursday night in Nashville with his mother as his date.
