Leonardo DiCaprio and Guillermo del Toro might be cooking up something interesting for Nightmare Alley. According to reports, the actor is currently undergoing negotiations to take the leading role of Stanton Carlisle in the upcoming flick and is scheduled to begin filming in the fall.
While there was a film released in 1947, the del Toro-helmed production will be based on the 1946 novel by William Lindsay Gresham of the same name. It focuses on Carlisle’s journey as a second rate circus act and his downfall in the showbiz industry.
