After dropping the second generation AirPods back in March, Apple is reportedly already working on the latest version of the wireless earphones. Whereas the last release featured “Hey, Siri” functionality and a wireless charging case, the stand-out feature of the next generation is rumored to be the option for noise cancellation.

If the report of noise cancellation is correct, it will mean that new strains are added to the AirPod battery life. Other rumored features include a better surface coating to improve sweat and water-resistance. These new features are set to mean that the third generation AirPods will be more expensive than their predecessors.

As of yet, there has been no official confirmation from Apple of for AirPods 3, but the new upgrade is rumored to be releasing sometime in Fall 2019 so keep an eye out.

In other Apple news, teh tech giant is rumored to be working on a smaller iPhone XE.
