Razer's New Blade Pro Laptop is a Portable 6-Core Beast
The 17-inch model weighs in at only 6 lbs.

Razer has rebuilt its 17-inch Blade pretty much from scratch, completely revamping the already-powerful system. CNC machined from a single block of aircraft-grade aluminium, the laptop only weighs 6 lbs even with a 17-inch screen. The extremely thin 6mm bezel maximizes the screen whilst keeping the laptop 25% smaller than its predecessor and other 17-inch competitors without sacrificing precious visual real estate.
Inside, this work horse of a laptop is powered by a Gen-9 six-core Intel Core i7 processor at a clock speed of 2.6GHz, which can be turbo-boosted to 4.5GHz. Visually, it comes equipped in three GPU configurations — NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, 2070 or 2080 — all of which produce extremely high quality graphics, performing alongside a matte 17.3-inch, 1080p – 144Hz screen. RAM-wise, the new Blade Pro 17 comes equipped with 16GB of DDR4-2667MHz dual-channel memory, with a storage of 512GB PCIe NVMe, which can be upgraded to a 2TB SSD. If that’s not enough, there’s an extra M.2 slot for further upgrades. Of course, the keyboard is Razer Chroma ready, allowing you to customize your keyboard with 16.8 million colors to choose from and an array of light settings.
The new Razer Blade Pro 17 will be available soon in May, starting from $2,500 USD. Head over to Razer’s website to learn more and get notified of its release.
