UPDATE: BAPE's UGG Collaboration Gets a Release Date
A surprising team-up.
UPDATE (April 24, 2019): BAPE‘s highly-anticipated collaboration with Southern California-based footwear and clothing manufacturer UGG has finally gotten a release date. After getting an exclusive first look at the capsule back in September of 2018 during the label’s 25th anniversary held in Tokyo, interested fans will soon be able to purchase the items for themselves.
Announced via a short clip posted to BAPE’s IG account, the visuals and caption simply state “Dropping 4.27.” The capsule will include five different footwear silhouettes including a pair of slides, slippers, sneakers, boots and a pair of winter slippers. A cozy suede and sheep fur-lined coat will also be part of the collection. Each piece has been dressed in a simple color palate of brown and white and features BAPE’s ubiquitous camo pattern and STA motif.

Unveiled during BAPE’s recent “BAPE XXV” exhibition held in Tokyo, Japan to celebrate its 25th anniversary of streetwear dominance, the capsule includes five footwear silhouettes such as a pair of slides, slip-ons, sneakers, boots and UGG’s winter slippers along with an outerwear piece. Using a simple color palate of brown and white, each item has been crafted from UGG’s signature suede and shearling and features BAPE’s ubiquitous camo pattern and STA motif.
