Stone Island Marina SS19 Collection Highlights Beachwear Essentials
Blending casualwear and sportswear for the warmer months ahead.
Stone Island’s Spring/Summer-focused offshoot label Stone Island Marina has returned with a variety of lushly-colored offerings ahead of the forthcoming warmer months. Blurring the lines between casualwear and sportswear, the Marina collection was recently revived in-line with the company’s rapidly growing consumer base and prioritization of thematic design. The off-shoot stays true to the archival design style, incorporating horizontal stripes on various new cut & sew pieces in vibrant colors. Although badge-less, the pieces retain the Marina ranges signature Stone Island compass logo embroidered and printed on many of the pieces.
Notable pieces in the newly revealed range include the Hooded Cardigan Sweatshirt in pigment printed cotton fleece, which utilizes a mélange cotton jersey hood that can be folded away and an embroidered red star on the left chest, a Lightweight Sweatshirt in similar material featuring the iconic horizontal stripes on the front body, with an embroidered star on the center chest, and a variety of lightweight T-shirt’s utilizing various signature branding hits throughout. Other notables that are included are the Swimming Shorts in brushed nylon as well as a Buck Hat in stripe-printed cotton canvas.
