A Closer Look at Donald Glover's adidas Originals Nizza Collaboration
The archival silhouette gets a stripped-back update.
After debuting the collaboration recently, one silhouette from the first collection by Donald Glover and adidas now gets a closer look. Releasing alongside two other sneakers — the Continental 80 and Lacombe – the Nizza is constructed from an off-white and pre-distressed canvas upper, complete with white accenting and sole units. As well as the off-white color palette, the Nizza also features subtle blue detailing on its laces.
The pre-distressed aesthetic is also referenced through uneven stitching, inside-out eyestays and frayed edges. The sneakers is then finished with moth graphics on the insole and a hand-painting style 3-Stripe branding. Each pair in the pack will also come in an inside-out box, along with three sets of laces to wear with the sneakers.
